Yep. As a Lakers fan I actually welcome this signing now. He will give us solid production off the bench for sure, but I sincerely hope NO Gasol trade is brewing with or without Sheed.

I heard some people suggested Arenas would be a better signing. Between Arenas and Sheed, I think I would definitely take Sheed a 100 times out of 100 times over Arenas. Let's look at how well he adjusted to be the third option in Orlando, vs. how well Sheed adjusted from being the man in Portland and then just the Sixth Man in Boston. All jokes aside, I think he will fit in.

Having said that, if Jackson was still coaching the Lakers, I would see no problem with guys like World Peace, Barnes and Sheed playing together. With Brown? Let's just wait and see, if you know what I mean...

Did you guys watch the All-star Saturday just now on NOW TV? Ok, it is too late to say now, but I actually thought Kevin Love would win the 3-pt contest from the beginning. Or shall I say I could 'feel' he was going to win it... oh well. As for the Slim Dunk contest, both Evans and George's dunks were great!!!

I am actually not a big surprised by KD's losing, man. I know he can score in games and all, but to me he doesn't strike me as a consistant long range shooter. Hell, he wouldn't have been in this contest if not for Joe Johnson's injury and withdrawn.

Basically I'm agreed with you, but to choose between K. Love and KD, I will pick KD...

Would "Defending 3pt Shooting Champion" be enough of a reason? He won it last year in LA.

This year All Star Game was pretty exciting...KD didn't win the 3pts contest but getting the MVP wasn't bad neither...
The West made a big run coming out and the East made a push in the 2nd half. Very similar to last year's too...
Also, it was funny when Anthony was being interviewed about Line and he was kind of trying to not talking about him... lol...

a little summary from the game...

-when Lebron James and Blake Griffin dunk, get out the way
-Russell Westbrook is a selfish player
-congratulations to Kobe "Black Mumba" Bryant for being the All Time Career Scoring Leader from All-Star game
-Kevin Love is a great rebounder
-Dwight Howard is able to fill in the void of Shaq being an All-Star entertainer
-Dwayne Wade and Lebron James have made a statement, All-Star game means business
-If isn't the flu, Kobe wouldn't have a poor performance from All-Star game
-funny how it is, Chris Bosh can lauch 3s in regular season games, in All-Star game, he can't
-Lebron James is the other way around, he can shoot 3s in All-Star game but can't shoot well in Finals
-Andre Igudola can DUNK
-Kevin Durant also make a statement, un-guardable from his outside game

There are more but too much for me to type
It was awesome with full-house at a bar while folks cheering for East Side and West Side.
Lebron should have take that final shot instead of pass it to D.Wade. So it would tie the game up.

Just finished watching the game on replay... so as soon as the final buzzer sounded, literally everyone was shaking hands and all on court... so how come LBJ was the only one walking away? Is he hurt? I know his feelings were... guess sportsmanship ain't worth much these days, eh?
