He is a shooting guard trapped in a point guard's board. He is always trying to top KD and he's lucky that KD is a different kind of superstar and allow him to share the stage.

KD can but he is also aware to let other Stars to shine too. Unlike his Thunder teammate.

Not sure is it me or Lebron is really scare to take the final shot. Maybe he choked last year and that's why he forced that pass to D. Wade. Weird.

i'm sure more people will criticize LBJ if he took the final shot. i think is wise move for him to let his teammate wade take the shot.

Fair or not, shoot or not shoot he is an easy target in many people's mind. Since the 2007 Finals onward, he has choked time and again in pressurized situation. And his 2011 Finals showing, or rather disappearing act in game 4 - 6 pretty much told people his mental toughness is questionable. Oh, and between it all there was this "The Decision" crap that pretty much turned alot of people who used to liked him against him.

I'd like to make it clear I don't like him for many reasons, BUT, he is still young and I do give him a benefit of a doubt. Maybe, just maybe, he will win a title somehow and all of these would be forgotten? C-hings you all remember how people treated Dirk through the years? So it is up to LBJ to "right" things from here on. Regardless, I still don't like him, ha!

He has the ball most of the processions. So when he's not passing and going for scoring then the game turn out to be a 1 on 5 when his teammates not touching the ball. And he's not the smartest player so he has way too many turn overs vs assists.
His game is very similar to Derrick rose, but the difference is Derrick Rose is all by himself so he has too score. Westbrook has KD (one of the best scorers in the world) and he decides to compete with him instead of working with him. Just to be fair, I think he is starting to work on that...

It's been kind of quiet in the NBA in the past few days, I guess?

Aside from all the big teams, I am a little surprised no one even bothered to talk about the Memphis Grizzlies. Without their leading scorer from last year in Z-Bo, they are now at a respectable 22-15; and only half a game behind the Lakers for the #5 spot in the west! Randolph could be returning in the next couple of weeks, and the Grizzlies could surprise alot of causal fans by playoffs time.

Actually Kobe has been playing like he's in a mission this season...  
Memphis always has a special place in my heart, because it was from Vancouver and they played my OKc tough last year in the playoff...

The key to today's victory aside from Kobe's 1st and 4th qtr performance, it was Metta World Peace!! He somehow managed to play D like he used to pretty much all day today on LBJ!!

Yeah, I too liked the Grizzlies when they were still in Vancovuer. That city deserves an NBA team!!

World Peace is still one of the best defenders in NBA if he puts his mind into it... Another one on my list is Marion... These two always give KD hard times when he play them...

Well, Marion used to be quicker, but even then I wouldn't call him a good "defender". He is alright with his size and long arms, and that's about it to me. And quite honestly I don't see World Peace playing like yesterday with that kind of intensity night in and night out.

Having said that, Shane Battier has always been one of my fav players, and his D on Kobe yesterday was as good as anyone can put on him.

Oh, and there are only 10 more days til the trade deadline... wow, can't wait to see if any big deal would happen within the next week or so!!

I know World peace doesn't play like that all the time now, and that's why I said he's good when he put his mind into it...
As Marion, I just going by the d he put on KD, because it seems to me that he's the one always give KD the most trouble with his long arms even though there is a lot to do with dallas's team defence.
The only one i really care is Howard's situation for this time, so, do you think Howard will still be in magic uniform after the trade deadline!? I kind of think he's gonna be around at least until the end of this season...

I think there could be potentially a few "surprise" trades before the deadline. For one, how about the Mavs? The defending champs ain't exactly doing good at all, and they are hanging around the #6, #7 spot out west, which is NOT pretty. I could see them shaking things up by sending BOTH Marion and J-Kidd to the Nets for D-Will. This trade would work financially, as Marion and Kidd are making roughly $18M vs. D-Will's $16M this season. Also, don't forget D-Will hasn't or still unwilling to sign an extension with the Nets.

Another potential surprise could come from San Antonio. Keep and build around Parker? And get rid of Manu when he is still worth "something"? How about the Celtics? Are you sticking with your aging big 3? Or trade away either KG or Allen for some good young pieces now?

Chris Kaman of the Hornets? He was on the trading block just a month ago. He could be dealt.

In the end, I am with you on D12. And I think more than likely he won't be traded before the deadline. After all, I don't think the Magic management is this dumb in rushing for a bad deal, when they can try to wait it out and see what they can do with him this summer. With Bynum playing better and better this season, I bet Otis Smith is now kind of regrets saying no to a much earlier proposed deal between Bynum for D12 right around now.

Um...  Never thought about D-Will since it's hard to see the Nets would let him go this early but definately makes sense.  Your concept on the Spurs is also interesting too but I just don't think the Spurs as a franchise would go that far since they are always avoid making too much changes imo. But definately well thought...

Anyone watched the Magic vs Bobcats game? Didn't watch it myself but just saw the result... Wow, they lost to the bobcats was just not right at all...

Didn't watch it, but I know the Magic were actually leading by 20 points in the first half. Let's just say I am just glad I am NOT a Magic fan!
