唔通的公司真系覺得IT人咁唔重要?

由商業角度,IT部門係支援前線揾錢嘅部門,真正揾錢嘅部門係前線部門例如市場開拓部門,銷售部門等,所以,要裁員,先由支授部門開刀,後勤,行政等部門都在考慮之例,IT部門自然首當其衝.

The reason is simple, most of IT support staff are doing BAU support and not get involved in making profit for the business, in short they contribute less to the business growth compare to front office staff, so they are easily targeted, not only IT though, accounting, HR and administrative are all easy target as well under bad economic climate.

Tip: Don’t feel discouraged! These days, a lot of people are in the same boat. It’s important to stay persistent though and to keep your spirits up when you’re on your hunt. Tomorrow may just be the day you land something.

olympus仲有其他業務架,例如影像、醫療、生命科學, 特別係醫療方面,聽講O記係內窺鏡既市場佔有率都幾高架

仲有以前同富士搞過xd儲存卡,不過摺左

"less knowledgeable then young IT people coming out of school" 呢個就真係睇邊度同咩公司同咩類型 IT 工種

以我自己係做軟件開發而言... 外國唔敢講, 但今日在香港, 大學 IT 科差不多已淪為水泡科, 勁人唔會無, 但比率一定大不如前. 所以 "young IT people coming out of school" 真係唔見得會 knowledgeable, 甚至未必講得上係 update

你問佢地 d 門面功夫, 例如最新款 language 最新款 platform 最新款 library, 識都正常, 但最新款 concept 野 design practice design idea, 一片空白的會比較多. 但當然, 以香港好多公司都講求即食麵式軟件開發, 講究以任何手段快起貨多過講求 code quality, 後者的重要性當然較小, 呢類公司追求的是人工平與捱得. 不過... 如果去到咁上下經驗都仲只係同人爭呢類公司的 post... 咁個位坐唔穏都正常...

若然在薪高糧準的公司裡, 咁就要睇自己能否摸出生存之道喇. 唔一定話人工高就炒硬既
