I have to respectfully disagree with you on Odom, especially after how he performed in Dallas this year. I said it right when the proposed CP3 trade went down that, we can't keep Odom so long he acts like a drama queen. By letting him go we saved went over $8M this season + the trade exception in which we used to get Session. For that I think it wasn't that bad of a deal in long term.
True, I hate to see Fish go, but our roster indeed needed a change. Come on, Walton? Kapono? We ain't even playing those guys, and in return we got J-Hill who clearly out plays BOTH McBoB and Murphy! So by now you can see we just have a bunch of guys who ain't that good to begin with for one reason or another. So again, letting Fish go is a tough choice, but it was also a "right" move in the grand scheme of things.
Our management? You mean that idiot owner in Jim Buss? Unlike his father, he has zero basketball sense and very little good business sense! Not hiring Shaw, like you said, was a terrible move! Ok, sure, for some unknown reasons he indeed hated anything Phil Jackson related, and he really wanted to do something or to make a decision of his own to show he can be a good owner... sorry, the problem is he has zero basketball sense to begin with. We are in a way heading toward the road of the Knicks in which the owner is an idiot, and the so-called management is a bunch of "yes men".
As for the Heat @ Pacers series... wow! I didn't in my wildest dream foresee D-Wade would lay an egg like in game 3, and how LBJ pretty much ran out of gas / gave up in the second half... still, the Heat are too dangerous to overlook, man. I think the Pacers MUST win game 4, or else the Heat could still somehow come back and win this thing. |
