I am very disappointed at the Lakers right now. Aside from an ill Kobe basically no one showed up for game 6. Hey, Bynum, you said closing out a team is easy, but you never did anything to back up your words, genius!
As easy as 4-11 for 11pts, however he did get 16 rebs and block 4 shots but he was also being blocked 4 times too... Not backing up his words with his game again.
But, as bad as he was... Gasol was even worse... 3 pts, 3 rebs, 1 ast, 1 stl, and 1 blk... I am sure he can do way better than that...
Many sources confirmed that LeBron is going to be named this season's Regular Season MVP... Damn...
Well, as much as I wanted KD to win it but LeBron definitely has had a much better year statswise...
Game 7 tomorrow morning HK time... it is do or die! Pau and Bynum better s ...
Yup, it's going to be crazy for both series. World Peace is back so he should able to chip in some much needed help...
Grizzlies didn't play that well imo, but they fought through it and good for them to came out with the win last night...
World Peace is going to be very rusty, but having him is better than without him though.
The Sixers almost had that game 1 in Boston, but they lost the game due to the lack of experience in closing games. Lou Williams jacking up a weak, contested shot at around 1:20 left pretty much spelled the beginning of the end for the Sixers.
Looks like we've earned the rights to get beat by the Thunder in the second round... I think fatigue is going to be a factor for LA in the second round. We are looking at playing game 1 in OKC on Monday, game 2 on Wedneday, and then game 3 & 4 back-to-back in LA on Friday and Saturday. It won't be easy for us to say the least.
No doubt that series will be fun, but like I said, the Lakers are much older and just now coming off a 7-game series, they will be fatigued in game 1.
Also, I am slightly surprised the Clippers managed to win game 7 in Memphis, but then I think they are not as good a match up against the Spurs. Looks like the Spurs will have a "free pass" to the WCF.
Got to say, I thought Pacers played one hack of the game tonight beating the Heats... As much Bosh is out, but it was really good effort that Pacers played an ugly game with the Heats and won...
The key to winning in the playoffs is to be able to win those ugly games. I am not saying Bosh is suddenly a superstar type player, but without him the Heat clearly have NO ONE else to man the frontline. And that showed how easily the Heat could actually lose to the Pacers!
