小弟對年份不是太過於重視，高年份的酒當然比較順口，因其酒精醇化的作用，但無論是single malt whisky 還是 blend malt whisky. 都是由酒廠找出由不同年份，不同特色，不同風味的威士忌原酒，所調配出的其最佳混合比例，所以只要找到自己最愛的口味就好。
當然，高年份的單桶威士忌，其年份的影響還是不小的。小弟就試過50年的威士忌，那個入喉的瞬間，到現在還是忘不了。

About the NAS, for Scotch Whisky it often use NAS to allow the blender to mix the favor profile they desire with varies of whisky which may include 8 years or below in age. But for Japanese Whisky, sometimes I really think that they produce NAS simply because they want to make money out of that.
