It's impossible to get a new average speed of 100km/h.
Distance of A to B is 50km/h x 1 hr = 50km
The total distance of A to B and back to A is 50km x2 = 100km
So set the return trip time to X hr, the relationship is
(1hr + Xhr) x 100km/h = 100km
1hr + Xhr = 1hr
Xhr = 0hr
which means I have to instantly jump from B back to A without spending any time for the average speed to become 100km/hr, which is impossible.

100km/h = ((50km/h X1) + (x km/h X1))/2
200km/h = 50km/h + x km/h
x km/h = 150km/h

問題只要求平均時速提升而沒有限制總時間

A 城至 B 城的距離為 50 km, 所以整個旅程為 100 km

所以若要整個旅程的平均時速為 100 km/h, 則整個旅程用了的時間需為 1 個小時.

但由於由 A 城至 B 城時已用去了 1 小時, 而回程時必須使用時間 (即使當光速行走), 所以整個旅程用了的時間必超過 1 小時.

所以由 B 城回 A 城時速不論多快都不可能使整個旅程的平均時速為 100 km/h.
