Good advice.
如時間許可的話坐火車都唔錯，可以看多Ｄ風影。青藏鐵路的火車是有加壓和供氧氣的，所以對悉應高原是冇幫助的。另外提議如果第一次入藏又一定要感受下坐青藏鐵路，最好是入藏時坐。原因？西藏玩完你會覺得青藏鐵路的風景都係好 ... 一般！

It is about 52xx Meters where the lake is, hiking it would really take your breath away la!! Ha! ha!

Because of the lake is high up, about 52xx meters above sea level so not much pollution there, just make the sky really blue and the air is so fresh, it is well worth all the work getting there!

WOW... these beautiful photos make me itch to go too....

I found this event online, really should be smoe beautiful photography ops. Especially good because this is photography event and every one will be taking their time, no need to rush to follow the rest of the group.

The photos was taken last October.  The best time is right after the long Chinese holiday as will be much less people. The temperature is still warm during the day and the lighting is perfect for pictures. The first thing you will notice when you got there is the sky is so blue!!

wow!! that sounds like a goog trip!!

Weather you are six or sixty, any trip you take should first take care of health issues, then you can go anywhere! Mind you do know your limitation and you will be fine. BTW, many with much older age had gone to Tibet and back without any problem. Just take it slow and enjoy being a kid again!!

Northern Xinjiang's altitude is much lower than Tibet.  I have yet to hear from any one I know having high altitude sickness in northern Xinjiang.

I suppose it is a place of worship, also the monks do keep the tempels and most places clean. (please note that clean in their sense and not in ours!! However, most washroom is still hopeless especially the public ones!! )

Yes, especially if you live in Asia. To anyone that likes travels, should really do it at least once before people or government changes what is there now!
