Compensation from your company comes out of your company's MPF contribution.  If your company has contributed more than your layoff compensation.  All the contribution will come out of your MPF.

if your company has contributed less than your layoff compensation, you will collect all your company's MPF contribution plus the difference (out of your company's pocket).

My boss is an Indian and he is well-known with in Indian in HK and he will not like to lose face. This is the reason why he still cannot decide to close the company.
