華碩 Asus 第二代 Transformer 平板產品雖然有可能被延遲，但這依然不影響它成為首款 NVIDIAKal-El 核心的設備，來自Fudzilla的消息顯示，華碩 Transformer 2 將是第一款裝載1.5GHz四核心 Tegra 3 芯片的平板。 NVIDIA 之前曾表示， Kal-El 四核心處理器的40nm製程可以在保證低功耗的前提下達到英特爾Core 2 Duo相當的水準，並且還內置高性能的圖形方案。


目前尚不清楚這款產品的最終發佈時間，但一旦出現，Transformer 2將毫無爭議地成為平板產業的新機王。

Well, it depends on how many improvements it will have and the $ on ipad3.
I am in market for a another tablet with gf already have ipad2.
Just past week, I went to shop to test out all the brands, mainly focused on Asus and Toshiba, and personally, I prefer ipad > those 2 now.  1 is just too heavy, the other is just not feeling the quality, aka, feel cheap.  And after spent a hour testing both, it is a bit harder to operate them under traveling condition.  Asus do have more window friendly operation and Toshiba do have the usb, which are big +s, but still not enough to win over their cons.

This issue never crossed my mind.  I did some research on this topic.  And seems all electronic goods need to pass international regulations, same thing with TV, cell phones, etc.  The only concern is some of the earlier parts might be from Japan nuclear leak area.  So, probably not enough concern for me~~~

When will these companies learn their lessons?  The only company that made money in tablet is Apple and it dominates that segment of market.  By bringing out more complicated (read expensive) tablets you will not only competing with the other tablets but also against the ever more powerful Ultrabook laptop as well.  
I know tablets are still in their infancy, the early avant-garde users will pay dearly to be the product testers for the computer companies.
My suggestion is stay put, do nothing until the products mature.
