2011PC市場排名 ACER超越HP、DELL成為市場二哥

市調機構 IDC 公佈 2011 年第二季亞太地區 ( 不含日本 )PC 市場排名報告，其中 LENOVO 仍是市場龍頭，佔整體市場約 22.5% ，於第一季分別佔第二、第三位的 HP 與 DELL ，則在第二季被 ACER 迎頭趕上。整體市場方面， 2011 年第二季 PC 市場場仍然保持雙位數成長，出貨量達至 3010 萬台。

我記得以前 acer既機一向以 易壞 出名, 所以我都係用開 HP 既~~

I still have an ACER Travel Mate notebook. Maybe about 8 years old. Pentium CPU running XP. Although I don't use it much but took to holiday where my children used it to surf the net. I use to know the regional Acer manager and he said they were concentrating on the corporate,  government and education market where they sell hundreds of PC at a time. I have an ASUS netbook and HP notebook for travel use.

好多年前用過Acer laptop，半年入了三次廠，最後一次取回後當賣爛鐵一樣賣了。

Anyone has think of why ACER has increased its market share? Not surprising as lot of people in mainland CHINA buy it! If you look at the mainland chinese people, esp. students around you, or when you go back to china, you will find this is true. Whether it is not worth to use is not important, the key is it is cheap.

That's why I only use IBM. But since it is sold to Lenovo, its quality is dropped a little.

我買notebook都係lenovo, 因公司用ibm, ibm俾lenovo收購o左就轉o左lenovo,

Brand name is not important.  Depends what's inside and how you use the computer.  I have been working in computer field for about 15 years.   Let's talk about notebook computers.  I don't see Acer have big major problems.  On the other hand, on HP, DV2000, DV6000, DV9000 series, they are disasters.  95% defective rate because of the Nvidia Chipset problem.  The newer series, DV4 and DV5, they have a lot of no display problems.   Toshiba have overheated problem, still have not completely solved.  Toshiba's T135D series, their Hinges breaks easily.  Dell's insprion 1501, 1505, 1525 series have a lot of problems.  Inspiron 1525 most of them are hard drive problems.  Lenovo / IBM is good, not too much problem, but their design looks like a little bit ugly.

I think so. To my opinion,
Acer rises due to its cost performance, its PC, especially laptop is very cheap in Mainland China.
HP dropped as the Nvidia heating problem and its attitude to Chinese customers.
Dell maybe no change, as its has more real stores in PC markets beside online saling.
