thank you for your help, end up remote desk top would serve some of  my purposes.

I am hoping that the New version of MS Office version 365 will help.  The big selling points is Microsoft going to setup the Windows Server and Exchange Server in their Server, of which their Server will be located in the Data Centre, all the email and files can be saved to their server, one can issue your email by the Internet Explorer,and you need to pay the rental fee to microsoft around from HKD200 up per user, so you don't need to pay the setup fee and admin charges for the new server, but remember the data is save to the data centre and host by microsoft, there may be a screcy issue.

Clould servics:  pay monthly fee, around HKD$25 per user /month,  you don;t need to maintain your own exchange server and care about licenses.  All manintenance done by service provider.  

Exchange in-house: Complete internal control and server admininstration.   Expensive inital investment cost.   Need to care about license and Hardware requirements

the program is now available and it costs only $6 a month; a test period free of charge for 30 days is possibe.  I shall try it out before I post any further details out here.

The former, you must have a specific server and the later is simply a platform provides by Microsoft.

For the money and the complications I now find that this is not the case.

I can actually solve my problem by remote desk top with the support of Wake ON Lan.  I am now quite happy with the arrangement.

其實我不太明白你說什么，估計一般人係用唔著Microsoft Exchange的, 就算有用都唔一定曉用，需然有Exchange這個字好像和財經有關,但這個東西正確來講和money拉不上關係，Microsoft Exchange係用來管理電子郵件、 業務通信、安排時間同發放用戶團體消息到有關電腦里的server軟件
