Didn't see the Spurs and Grizzlies game one earlier.  But, the Spurs seemed to manhandled the Grizzl ...

I couldn't sleep, so I watched the second half of the game. The Spurs did a few things better than the Grizzlies.

The make sure Z-Bo didn't get the ball by either fronting him, double teaming him or always have someone to rotate on him. They also forced a lot of TOs, and basically didn't commit too many of their own. Finally, they controlled the board better also... a side note, on a few occasions the Spurs also got away with illegal defense, but having a guy sort of guarding two Grizzlies; but they did it in such a skillful way the ref never called anything.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Dwight Howard met with Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak and complained about his role under Mike D'Antoni. Particularly how the center felt marginalized as the coach looked to Bryant and Steve Nash for leadership and suggestions and discounted Howard's voice.

This year's draft isn't very deep or talented, but it is always a good things for getting the #1 pick though. Look deeper, if I am not wrong, the Cavs have 4 of the first 33 picks this year. Along with their current young players, their core is set and they are in a good position to try and sign LBJ back in 2014!

I decided to stay up late and watch the game last night.  Let's just say, it was crazy...
Interesting finish at both regular time and Over time...

If it only happened to one coach then we might say that's just rumor that the guy is a coach killer.  But, come on Dwight...  Spend your time on improving your game instead.

You get NO disagreement from me on D-Howard here. I know he is likely one of the BEST centers in the NBA right now, but in a way I don't think I would feel too sad if somehow either the Rockets, Hawks or the Mavs find a way to sign him away; as long as we keep Pau, and he and Kobe return healthy.

Lucky win for the Pacers.

Then again, this is a weird series thus far. The team that seemingly HAD the game in the end lost both times.

Watching the Spurs and Grizzlies series really show that San Antonio is really in a different level than Memphis.  3-0 now and I don't think Memphis will be the first team in NBA history to could overcome that.
Also, it really confirmed my own point of view.  Memphis would not beat Thunder if OKC had their full team...

The Grizzlies had a chance to win it in regulation, but with 17 plus seconds left and that was the play they came up with? They deserve to lose and be down 0-3!

The Phoenix Suns are likely going to hire former Suns / Jazz player Jeff Hornacek. Per a report the Suns and Hornacek are already in the negotiations stage, so the hire seems likely. Hornacek is currently an assistant coach for the Jazz.

Maybe I am jumping the gun here, but I believe this is the beginning of the end to the Pacers' great season. I just cannot imagine them to beat the Heat 3 more times, over only 4 more possible tries and without home court!

By the way, I can just see a dumb smile on Juwan Howard's face and see him goes:"Hmm... Juwan like!"

For debate's sake, this is the path the Spurs took on their way to the Finals... Injury-decimated Lakers -> Inexperienced Warriors -> Inexperienced / overachieved Grizzlies. I don't think the Spurs would have any troubles against the Pacers, but would the Heat be a rude awakening for the Spurs?

I would love to see the Spurs and Heat Final...  Don't think the Pacers have it in them to beat the Heat yet...

Both teams flopped like crazy in Game 4. Sure, the Pacers tied the series, but like you said, I don't think they have enough to win one more in Miami... or, let me put it this way, with the way their offense goes; I don't think they are capable of winning a game 7 (if it has to come to that) on the road. And, I actually do not or could not imagine the Heat would lose the next two in a row. In other words, I think it will either be the Heat closing the Pacers out in game 6, or the series is back to Miami for game 7 with the Heat winning in either case.

Game 5 in about an hour.... whoever wins is very likely going to take the series!

Finally the league did something right for a change!

By the way, this series is over. I don't care if the Pacers would win one back home in game 6; I just do not think they could win a game 7 in Miami, period. What they showed today just further confirm this thought of mine.
