Oh yes, I watched Hill way back in his rookie season. And I recall watching him played @ Chicago vs MJ the first time like it was just yesterday.

Fair or not while Hill was considered Mr. Everything while with the Pistons, he was never considered a good defender. So that's why I was amazed by his ability to play Kobe one-on-one in the 2010 WCF series.

I was actually kind of shocked when Hill decided to leave the Pistons for the Magic.

That said, the Magic really should've kept Ben Wallace along the way, instead of including him in the package that traded to the Pistons for Hill. It turns out Ben Wallace was exactly what missing from Orlando after they got T-Mac and Hill, a defensive anchor in the middle. The Magic with T-Mac was fun to watch on the offensive end, but was a TERRIBLE defensive team!

Duncan was never really close to signing with the Magic at the time. Looking back, he just wanted to see his options, and didn't want to say no to the Magic's invitation.

Also, looking back at that period of time, the east really didn't have ANY decent team at all. I counted only 2, and they were the Pacers and the 76ers. Basically the rest of the east was a joke until 2004-05 or so...

I have got to tip my hat off to the Bulls beating the Heat in Game 1, man...  
I don't think they will be able to pull off and beat the Heats to advance.  The Miami Heat might have too much rest between the two rounds...  But, the Bulls always give the Heat troubles...

I have to agreed with you there. It was an impressive win without Rose and Deng, but can the Bulls really win 3 more over the Heat? Not impossible, but doubtful. The best hope for Chicago would be out rebounding the Heat and get those extra attempts, or else the Heat are simply too talented for the Bulls.

He said he doesn't think he will be ready to come back according to all the NBA sources...  Actually, I don't think this is a good time for him to be back neither.  His condition is not where he should, and it also might cause chemistry problem since everyone has been doing great without him so far imo...

I think both the Pacers/Knicks and Grizzlies/Thunder series are equally interesting.

Now that for whatever reason, the Knicks just couldn't win in game 1... oh wait, I know why, cuz Melo shot the ball so damn much and never thought about passing the ball. The Pacers simply just double or triple team him, and he still jack up a shot with no chance of it going in. So far they do ok in game 2 as I type...

As for the Grizzlies, they were right there toward the end in beating the Thunder. It was a frustrating loss, but I would feel a little afraid if I were the Thunder. Without Westbrook, the Thunder's offense suddenly just doesn't have this tempo changer; and they tend to slow things down and that suits the Grizzlies' style of play. As much as I like the Thunder, I am kind of rooting for the Grizzlies this time.

Huge win for the Grizzlies! And what happened to the Thunder? Aside from Durant's 36pts, the old OLD D-Fish is their second leading scorer (19pts) in game 2? Really? Kevin Martin went AWOL! Anyway, it is now everyone's series, and let's see if the Thunder can take one on the road.

As for the Pacers @ Knicks game 2... wow! The Knicks went on a 30-2 run between late 3rd and early 4th qtr! A 30 to 2 run?! That is like NBA 2K13-kind of number, I wouldn't think it was possible in the NBA; especially NOT in the playoffs. WTF?

It's hard for KD to beat the Memphis all by himself.  I am not surprised Fisher playing decent, but the rest of the Thunder are really disappointing.  Oh, well...  Let's try again on Saturday...

Kevin Martin is supposed to be the second scorer, but he has been very inconsistent.
