Yes sir, I AM serious!! While Dirk too is having a pretty good season, but look at what D-Rose have to work with on his team? Noah and Boozer are his two starting front court mates, and both have been out with injuries on and off all season. Aside from that, Keith Bogans is his starting SG, and he averages just 6 ppg! And finally there is Ding, and he is about the one other consistant Bull all season.

On the other hand, Dirk has Kidd, JET and Chandler around him this year! Sure, Caron Butler's season ending injury is going to hurt the Mavs in the playoffs, but offensively the Mavs don't really need his scoring all that much nor Dirk has to take on extra load the way like Rose does in Chicago. So yes, D-Rose for MVP and I am a Lakers fan!! Just to show you how much I admire him.

Speaking of the Bulls, I finally got my copy of the Michael Jordan Ultimate Collection (4 blurays set) from Amazon, and I immediately put in Game 6 of the 1998 Finals. Man, the video quality is surprisingly good considering it was shot in standard definition in the late 90's. Also, I am a bit surprised to find that game is in 1.66:1 (slightly wider but not 16:9) instead of the usual 4:3 aspect ratio. All in all, it will take me a few days to finish those 5 games (in their entirety) included in this BD set! I can't wait for a similar set on Kobe when he finally hangs it up in a few years.

Yeah, the final 41 plus seconds of that game was just like a movie! All I can say was, even though the Jazz were up by 3pts with about 41 seconds left, you could still see "fear" in their eyes!

Anyway, while this Game 6 looks very good on BD, I don't expect the same quality in other older games in this set, nor his older documentaries like "Come Fly With Me". Still, as an NBA fan this is a must buy set!!

Around HKD 380, and that includes shipping already! Just finished watching that game 6, and most of Disc #2; which contends MJ's HOF speech, and other highlights etc.

Hi 阿島, maybe due to my low seniority, I cannot 點評... or I just don't know how... anyway, yeah, I sometimes order from directly from Amazon.com, and sometimes BDs are cheaper that way then buying in HK even with shipping! As for the MJ Ultimate Collection set, I have the dvd version too; but all the extra content in the BD version is totally worth double dipping!!

In the west, outside of those top 8 teams, I think the Suns are the only team that could challenge for a playoffs spot. Even then their chances are getting slimmer with the Grizzlies seem to play pretty well even without Rudy Gay. As for the Jazz, ever since Sloan resigned and the trading of D-Will, they have been in a tail spin; and it is safe to say they are out of the playoffs this year unless something strange suddenly happens in the next 20 games or so.

Sorry, I have to take back some of what I said earlier... teams have roughly 12-13 games left in the regular season, not 20 like I mentioned. Also, the Jazz are currently the #9 seed in the west, and the Suns are #11; yet I still stand by my opinion on the Suns' playoffs chances are higher than the Jazz's.

As for the Hornets, they started off the season 8-0, but now they are just hanging on to the #7 spot... then again you have to consider they have a rookie coach, and uncertainties surrounding the team all season. Uncertainties such as former owner George Shinn's unsuccessful attempt in selling the team. As well as whether the team's average attendant number would meet the minimum as agreed between the league, the city of New Orleans and the team's than ownership. If that number wasn't met, the team could move yet again. And finally the league took over ownership and operations of the team after George Shinn announced he could no longer afford to run the team... adding all these together, it is hard for players to really focus on basketball and play well...

Bulls 的走勢的確令人振奮！
(MJ 對現在 Bulls 的前景也表樂觀！)
但他們要克服季後賽的打法實不容易...
那種球球皆辛苦的半場陣地戰，
無三兩支巨杉真係幾惡打的，
所以要看看佢地怎樣在常規賽作點部處吧！

仲有先為 D.Rose 爭奪 MVP 打打氣吧！

What a game this morning (HK time) between the Suns and the Lakers!! 3OTs!! Great win for the Lakers, as we are now 1 and 1/2 games over the Mavs for the #2 seed with 11 games left to play!! I am circling the 31st March game, when we host the Mavs in LA.
