Don't get me wrong, and I am not taking anything away from Battier and the Heat D here. I am simply echoing to my much earlier post from about 10 days ago, and at that time I already knew by this week we wouldn't have been sharp at all due to the schedule. I am simply NOT surprised we lost.

Look, so far we've played the most games among ALL teams in the Association. And over this 12 days period we play 7 games (including a 4-game-in-5-night deal). Sure, you can take it as an excuse, but either way you look at it the schedule is tough and crazy for us early on.

IMO, the NBA products don't look too good to my eyes so far this season. Everyone was rushing through training camp, 'exhibition season' (2 games?!), and then immediately got thrown into the regular season. Worse of all, many players get injuried and some are even key guys to their teams... I don't think any positive would come out game plays wise until at least mid to late March.

Atlanta Hawks of last few years came to my mind after your comments...  Always did great but never really able to push far in the playoff...
Didn't watch the lakes and heat game much last night but, I saw a rare sight... Eddy Curry was playing...

It just so happen the Lakers were @ Miami and lost today, oh well, big dea ...

It's not a big deal because it's still only one regular season gam like you said. I only said it because i knew they were playing each other last night and that's what i wanted to say...  The only big deal game in this season is, OKC (they even had a day rest too...) lost to Washington...

That's what I don't understand...  Lakes have played 16 games and Clippers only have played 12!? Can't understand how the NBA guys did the scheduling...

That's what I said earlier too... we've been playing the most games among ALL NBA teams so far... go figure...

as long as our teams get into the playoff then its fine regular season is more like warm up than real competition. they dont come until playoff

I think this is more true for this crazy compressed season than any others, especially for older teams like the Lakers, Mavs, Spurs etc. Oh, and at this rate I am interested to see how high (or low) the Celtics will finish the regular season at. The Big 3 have been either hurting (Pirece), or simply look old (KG), and now that Rondo is hurt... interesting... though not that I care, haha.

Ha, ha... Actually that's also hard on the old fans like me too...
I live in the east coast but most of the teams that i like to watch are in the west. Watching games til late every nights are fun but tough to get up in the morning...

I keep hearing people are suggesting either another trade (Amare for D12?) or a coaching change for the Knicks. Allow me be the conspiracy theorist here for a second... it so happen a former Knick by the name of Phil Jackson is supposedly 'retired', and the last I checked #18 is the ONLY key player's number from their 1973 Championship hasn't been retired yet. Something might be brewing?

At 2-15, the Wiz decided to fire Flip Saunders.

Randy Wittman is now the interm head coach, but then we (some of us) all knew how well he did as the head coach during the pre-LeChoke era in Cleveland. Good luck DC.

Funny that both teams which fired their head coaches got the first wins for their interem coaches...
