Frankly，D. Will is not my cup of tea！I don't believe that he would be another "super-star" PG：
Old guys：like Kidd、Nash... still in good shape！
Peers：like Rondo、Rose、CP3... seems better！
New comers：Westbrook、Walls... aggressive！

Superstar PG might be a bit far off for D-Will, but the guy can definitely play and carry a team. I wouldn't mind having him to play for my team if I were a GM starting from zero.

This is possibly the busiest trade deadline in recent memory, here are a few more right before the deadline:

Rockets get Goran Dragic
Suns get Aaron Brooks

Rockets get Hasheem Thabeet
Grizzlies get Shane Battier

Celtics get Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic
Thunder get Kendrick Perkins and guard Nate Robinson

Celtics also get a 2nd round pick
Cavs get Semih Erden and Luke Harangody

Thunder acquired another big man by sending Morris Peterson and D.J. White to Charlotte for center Nazr Mohammed.

May be MJ think the pick will be useful for Bobcats...but according the past experience, given MJ's pick will just = lose it!! haha!

Perkins' contract is up after next year. This trade hurts them short term, but moving him now give the Celtics both players and salary flexibility in the long run

This time, I am not going to agree with you.

Boston will regret what they have done by sending Perkins away.
Especially when playoff comes, both Shaquille and Jermaine O'Neal will not last long at the Center spot.
In short terms for Boston Celtics, it is salary relief.
In long terms, they are missing a hard-nose center who has a lot of fire/ passion to beat L.A. Lakers..
He is the guy will bring the energy when every posession counts.

Perkins will give toughness to Oklaholma City Thunder. An instant toughness.
A veteran with a lot of hunger inside.
Yes this Thunder team is surround with young superstar like Durant and Westbrook.
The problem is, they are too young. For sure they will get push around when play-off comes.

Perkins is worth each and every penny he is making. When Celtics have 80% are veterans in the roaster,
it is tough for Danny Ainge to give out a big fat cheque to him. Thunder have a lot of cap room.

He FITS into the Thunder system very well. Perkins reminds me the younger version of Charles Oakley.
Tough guy with no non-sense. Good luck to him with his new team.

If I am Danny Ainge, I would get rid-off either Jermaine O'Neal or Big Baby Davis.

其實我很贊同您的想法的！請勿誤會！
小弟確信，唔計傷病的因素，綠軍的陣容是絕對有力問鼎指環！
但以上 statement 應祇可用於今年個球季...

而我所謂『魚毛料』是指他的崗位，我心中 Perkins 的主要角色是人肉城牆；
但於他傷後復出後，他變得相對『錫身』...
更重要的是，波士頓管理層懷疑自己未來挽留 Perkins 的能力
(當然 Perkins 會否以現時的 package 留低亦存疑問...)

無疑綠軍同雷霆這個交易，在今季餘下的時間，一定是後者贏哂。
但 as a long run，就見仁見智... (當然小弟仍然懷疑綠有冇著數)

但我絕難認同 Danny Ainge 對球員那種『涼薄』的感情。
這幾年我對綠軍的喜好，很大程度是原於他們那種『brotherhood』的團隊精神！
他們互相的關心，是無得假的！觀乎 Marquis Daniels 那次受傷就可見一班！
現在攪到成隊波好似『兄弟爬山，各自修行』，甚至『各散東西』，
真係無說話好講！

唯有演譯為：
聯盟球隊是涉及數以千萬 (美元) 計的 business，
不是小弟那樣的 layman 可以理解吧！

Thanks to Danny Ainge, the Thunder is suddenly a serious contender out west. Durant, Westbrook and N.Robinson are deadly athletic, and now they not have Collison (he was more than stood his ground against D-Howard this morning @ Orlando) but also Perkins and Mohammed at the center spot; they will be a serious problem for the Spurs and the Lakers this spring.

I am watching the Jazz @ Pistons on NBATV on NOW. The commentating crew is from Utah, and they just now talked about the Pistons-incident in lenght (for over 5 minutes with video and all). It was an interesting conversation between the two analyists, and they rightfully trashed those players involved (T-Mac, Hamilton etc).  I wonder what the Pistons side commentating crew says about this game, and those players.

I like the current Bulls, but against the Bucks was a boring game... that's why I watched the Jazz @ Pistons. In fact, the latter game was more entertaining too.

It looks like Mike Bibby is going to give up his entire salary of $6.2M for next season, and reached a buyout with the Wizards. After he clear waivers, sources say he will be heading to the Miami Heat. Yet, his agent said nothing has been agreed to and teams like the Lakers, Celtics and Blazers are also interested.

Well, I have to disagree with you there. For starters, the Knicks are only 2-2 since Melo's arrival.

Sure, you might say Melo is still averaging 27ppg in NY, and that's a better than decent number; yet if you look deeper you will see why I disagreed with you. Of course, Melo scored a total of 108pts over those 4 games with the Knicks, but he also took 93 shots in the process. Versus Billups who scored a total of 93 pts as a Knicks with ONLY 49 shot attempts. You should now see Melo's ain't exactly playing well thus far. Plus, he still hasn't addressed the Knicks' defensive issues, so it remains to be seen how well this trade really is. One thing is for sure, the Knicks are alot more entertaining to watch.
