The short answer is no.
The long version looks something like this. The Cs are without Shaq to clog up the lane, and also no longer have Perkins, that pretty much leave J O'Neal, Big Baby, Jeff Green and Nenad Kristic as their main rotating big men; and unfortunately I think both Green and Kristic ain't being effective at all thus far. It is hard for them to control the paint against a much younger, more athletic Heat team. Especially now that the Cs are down 0-2, I honestly don't think how can they win 4 out of 5 reminding games with his lineup, and without home court advantage. The most likely scenario is the Cs manage to tie the series at 2-2, but lose 2 close ones in game 5 and 6.
Oh yes, I never mentioned about Pierce, Allen, Rondo nor KG... then again, if this series is about starters, the Cs have a great chance; yet somehow it looks the key lies on the surging Heat bench, or rather the declining Cs bench... So in short, the Heat will likely win this series, although I hate LBJ, what do you think? |
