Released 42 years ago this month in 1984 ... the EP 'Deathwish' by then Rozz Williams and Rikk Agnew Band led cult postpunk & goth art rock band, Christian Death featuring demos recorded in 1981 just prior to the release of their (now) much referenced debut album 'Only Theatre of Pain' released in 1982. The elaborate packaging via French record label l'Invitation au Suicide included a booklet with 19th century poems & prose in both French & English alongside of similar dated gothic illustrations. A truly fascinating record release !
