After the amount of abuse he had during his time at Man Utd and his professionalism and maturity he has had, he deserves a contract there. You do notice he got even slower now because of age but he is more than experienced to deal with these. Still a pretty good center half and a leader in the dressing room, and if he's willing to lower his demands, why not
