On Nov 14, 1983, Eurythmics released their third studio album, "Touch". The album’s reputation grew steadily. Touch appeared in Rolling Stone’s various Greatest Albums lists, in Colin Larkin’s All Time Top 1000 Albums, and in Slant’s ranking of the best albums of the 1980s. AllMusic’s retrospective review called it a landmark of the duo’s electronic period, noting how confidently it navigated between chart pop and more experimental impulses.
