Released 40 years ago on 20 September 1985 ... the fourth studio album 'Ignite; by UK alternative & postpunk exponents Felt, produced by Robin Guthrie then marking the debut of the great & late Martin Duffy on keyboards and also the last to feature founding guitarist Maurice Deebank. Elizabeth Fraser features prominently as backing vocalist on "Primitive Painters" which became Felt's most successful single, reaching the top of the UK independent singles chart.
