The main point is from the customers’ point of view, why do we need to pay that overhead $ to the agents? Have they add any values to the whole processes? Have you seen any cities in the world that have this ON9 agents system?

Of course. The traditional customers won’t like it. The point is that this is a sale strategy which aims at customs recruited by agents from mainland China. As long as people keep on going to agents for discounts, this practice will never end.

A simple question to demonstrate. Why a same egg tart sells for $5 more expensive in the casino area in Taipa and in the Taipa Village than in the Macau city? Macau is very good at different pricing and extract “rent” out of visitors.
In fact, I experienced the same in Shenzhen about 25 years ago. At 天上人間, taking a girl out to a hotel room was 1000 for locals, but 2000 for customers from overseas. I wasn’t unhappy to see it shut down.
