1976年的感恩節，The Band 在美國舊金山舉行名為 的告別演唱會，特別來賓包括 Eric Clapton、Neil Diamond、Bob Dylan、Joni Mitchell、Van Morrison、Ringo Starr、Muddy Waters、Ronnie Wood 以及 Neil Young 等，無一不是舉足輕重的樂界要角。這場演唱會由導演 Martin Scorsese 拍攝並剪輯成同名紀錄片，1978年推出後佳評如潮，被譽為是史上最偉大的搖滾演唱會電影之一。同年4月16日， 也以3LP型式推出黑膠唱片。
