Nirvana ----- MTV Unplugged in New York



Today in 1993 (November 18, 1993), MTV aired Nirvana’s iconic 'Unplugged in New York' performance.  It was recorded at Sony Music Studios in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. On November 1, 1994, Nirvana released “MTV Unplugged in New York” consisting of mainly lesser-known material and cover versions of songs by the Vaselines, David Bowie, Lead Belly, and Meat Puppets.
