加利安尼︰AC米蘭要繼續年輕化
The vice-president has regrets over some of the players he has let go over the years and vows not to make the same mistakes again...
Having let the likes of Alessandro Matri, Paolo Sammarco and Marco Donadel slip through his fingers, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has vowed not to let the same happen with the current crop of youth players.
Galliani feels that the current economic climate, which has hit Italy particularly hard, puts even more emphasis on the importance of bringing youngsters through the system.
"The economic situation in Italy, worse than in other places, has stressed the need to pay careful attention to the youth system again," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.
"This will be our path for the future. At the moment we have a few interesting young players who will return here, like [Davide] Astori, [Marcus] Diniz and [Alberto] Paloschi.
"I also regret letting lads like Matri, Sammarco and Donadel leave. However I am still optimisic having looked at what our Primavera squad are doing; [they are] first in the league and in the semi finals of the Coppa Italia." |
