35 years ago today (5 September 1988), Rough Trade Records released “Rank” - the only live album by The Smiths.

Recorded almost two years earlier on October 23rd, 1986 at National Ballroom in Kilburn, London it was originally going to be titled “The Smiths in Heat.”
