來自蘇格蘭的電子音樂家 Sophie Xeon 早前傳出在雅典逝世消息，享年 34 歲。根據該團隊聲明表示，「不幸的是我們美麗的 Sophie 在一次事故後於今天早晨去世。富有靈性的她攀登到高處觀看滿月，接著因滑倒而跌落。」直指逝世原因為意外事故。

Sophie Xeon 曾於 2018 年以專輯《Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides》獲得葛萊美獎最佳電子專輯提名，身兼歌手、作曲家和製作人、DJ 等多重身分，過往曾與 Nicki Minaj、Kim Petras、Madonna 等著名音樂人合作，此前還登上巴黎 Louis Vuitton 2020 春夏時裝周並演唱知名單曲《It’s Okay to Cry》。傳出惡耗不久，許多明星紛紛發文表示惋惜，英國歌手 Sam Smith 表示「令人心碎的消息，我們失去了一位天使。我們這一代真正具有遠見的偶像，妳的光芒將繼續影響許多世代。」

出生於蘇格蘭格拉斯哥的著名跨性別音樂人SOPHIE，於英國時間1月30日清晨傳出過世的消息，終年34歲。據指身在希臘雅典的SOPHIE，清晨時分在其住所附近攀登高處想欣賞月圓，但因失足而意外跌死。其經理人公司昨發聲明稱：「在悲痛中通知大家，音樂人與監製SOPHIE，今早約4時在雅典去世，她居於那處，原因是發生了意外。」經理人公司又希望大家尊重與守護她的家人們的隱私。

SOPHIE原名Sophie Xeon，因受到父親影響，十多歲開始創作音樂，以電子風格為主，2013年創立了音樂品牌A.G.Cook，以監製工作為主，她亦於同年推出單曲《Nothing More To Say》出道成為歌手。其後創作出多首歌曲，並於2015年推出專輯《PRODUCT》都獲得十分高的評價。SOPHIE亦曾與多名天后級歌手合作，當中最注目的是為麥當娜（Madonna）創作了《Bitch, I'm Madonna》，在該曲當中，除了娜姐之外，亦有Nicki Minaj的參與，SOPHIE一次過與兩名天后合作。此外，她亦與Charli XCX和Kendrick Lama等音樂人合作，亦曾為日本已引退的天后安室奈美惠的歌曲《B Who I Want 2B feat.HATSUNE MIKU》作曲作詞及擔任監製。

SOPHIE於2018年憑着專輯《OIL OF EVERY PEARL'S UN-INSIDES》獲格林美獎最佳跳舞/電子專輯提名，亦於去年獲知名國際品牌邀請，為該品牌的春夏時裝騷創作音樂，其才華受到各方面賞識。她去世的消息傳出後，眾多圈中人都有留言悼念，其中著名同志男歌手Sam Smith於社交網留言表示心碎，並稱世界上失去了一名天使，並讚揚SOPHIE是一個時代的代表。
