True for safey.  I stay in bangkok now for work and stuff.  I used to take moto taxi but i got into an accident recently and i stay out of moto taxi since then unless it's super urgent to go somewhere.  The accident happen when you least expected and it's actually a car taxi that carelessly hit the bike im on, luckily i was not hurt at all and manage to jump out from the motobike and landed on feet but the bike and driver fell over and have scratches and stuff.  

So my advice to friend and bro in bangkok that drive motobike or take moto taxi, be extra careful and be aware of your surrounding.
