On March 20, 1991, was a tragic day for Eric Clapton. His son Conor, who was only four years old, died after falling out of a 53rd story window of his mother's apartment in New York.
At the time Eric was staying at a hotel not far away, and had taken Conor to the circus the night before. Eric would later write the song "Tears In Heaven" as a way to help him through the grief.
It doesn't matter how big of a star you become, your life can still change in an instant.
