My personal opinion is, always treat the mamasan and the waitress better if you like the bar you go. And be upfront to them, usually i just say i buy them one and only one drink that's it. Then they make some money from the drink and you get the peace of mind. You can give them 100baht as tip if you want instead of drink. That way they know you can spend money but you have limit and they wont try something fishy over the bill and anything.
As for the girls in billboard, i met girl that ask for 2 drink and finish them as soon as they can in 5 min but there is also girl that only ask for 1 drink after talking for 10 minutes and wont ask for more. These girls are everywhere nowadays so just be cool with it i guess. In the end i still consider gogo bar expenses are cheaper than nightclub but that's just me. |
