3名警員被捕涉查藏毒案插贓被控妨礙司法公正

警方表示，東九龍總區重案組今日控告一名44歲男警務人員、一名34歲男警務人員及一名31歲女警務人員合共一項「作出傾向並意圖妨害司法公正的行為」罪。

該3名警務人員於2016年12月在黃大仙處理一宗藏毒案時，涉嫌影響證據，意圖妨礙司法公正。

東九龍總區重案組經調查及徵詢法律意見後，該3名警務人員今日涉案被捕，並被控以合共一項「作出傾向並意圖妨害司法公正的行為」罪，將於3月13日到觀塘裁判法院應訊。

警方重申，如任何人員干犯違法行為，警隊定必嚴正處理。

據了解，3人前年12月在黃大仙一間酒樓對開報稱截查一名男子時身上撿獲毒品，帶返警署扣查。疑犯之後投訴被警員栽贓，案件交由東九龍總區重案組調查。

Three police officers have been charged for allegedly making up evidence in a drug possession case.

Sources said the three, aged between 31 and 44, are from the force's emergency unit.

They're alleged to have false claimed to have found drugs inside the pocket of a suspect whom they arrested in Wong Tai Sin two years ago.

But the suspect complained and said the drug was not actually found on him, triggering a probe.

The three were charged with “doing acts tending and intended to pervert the course of public justice”, and will be brought to the Kwun Tong court next Tuesday.
