原來係智能音箱竟讓手機使用率大幅下降....

現時智能手機可算是人們生活中的一部分，每日機不離手，不過今年智能音箱 Amazon Echo 和 Google Home 突然大受歡迎，累積銷量上升速度相當快，甚至有指用戶數量已經比 VR 及 AR 裝置多，而近日更有調查指出，超過一半的用家表示購買智能音箱後，使用智能手機的時間比以往越來越少，看來智能音箱將會成為新一代生活必需品。

智能音箱 Amazon Echo 和 Google Home 能讓用家透過各自的語音助手 Amazon Alexa 和 Google Assistant 搜尋資料、回答問題、報時、查詢天氣、播放音樂及購物等，功能相當多，而最近著名科技諮詢機構 Accenture 和 Harris Interactive 在網上進行一項問卷調查，受訪者來自 19 不同個國家，一共 21,000 人，其中有一條問題問及「自得到智能音箱後，使用智能手機的頻率下降」，有 2,300 人回答了這個問題，結果顯示有 66% 人表示同意及十分同意，當中有 64% 用家減少了使用手機作娛樂、58% 用家減少了使用手機網購、56％用家減少了使用手機搜尋資料。

有分析指出智能音箱在日後會更受歡迎，來年 Apple、Samsung 及更多品牌都會推出自家的智能音箱，但現時 Amazon Echo 和 Google Home 已成功佔有大部分市場，其他廠商之後才加入或許太遲，亦可能會影響智能手機的業務發展。目前只有極少數智能音箱可在香港使用，最受歡迎的 Amazon 和 Google 也沒有打算在港推出相關產品，或許是對廣東話的語音支援較困難，現時只有 Siri 對廣東話的支援較好，也許我們可以期待一下 Apple HomePod 能在港帶起智能音箱熱潮。

Google 智慧音箱「Home」系列需求強強滾，一秒可賣一台

日本網站 iPhone Mania、CoRRiENTE.top 報導，Google 透過自家部落格宣布，從「Home Mini」於 2017 年 10 月 19 日開賣以來，Google 平均每秒可賣出一台以上的「Home」系列智慧音箱產品。

以一秒賣一台來計算，自 2017 年 10 月 19 日迄今，「Home」系列產品最少已賣出 670 萬台。若加總之前販售出去的 Home 數量計算，「Home」系列產品目前的累計銷售量應該已達 750 萬台以上水準。

Google 並指出，人工智慧（AI）助理「Google Assistant」除了 Home 之外，也搭載在 Android 裝置、iPhone、耳機、電視等各種裝置上，目前全球搭載「Google Assistant」的裝置數量已達 4 億台。

Google「Home」系列智慧音箱產品有售價僅 49 美元的 Home Mini、129 美元的 Home 及去年 12 月中旬開賣、售價達 399 美元的 Home Max 等 3 款。

Google 未細說上述 3 款產品的個別銷售數據，所以不清楚是哪款產品賣最好。不過預估應該是價格最便宜的 Google Home Mini 最具人氣。

路透社日前報導指出，Google 智慧音箱產品中價格最低廉的 Home Mini 賣越多賠越多。Home Mini 光零件費用就達 26 美元，且該費用不含研發費、廣告費、物流費等費用。

應該只有音樂使用部份下降，整體使用率應無影響。

在美國google home可以用嚟打電話, "caller id" 係用家 mobile number.

Smartphones dominate consumer attention today, but smartphone companies are several years behind when it comes to home digital assistants. Amazon first released the Echo widely in the summer of 2015 (it was available in a limited trial to Amazon Prime subscribers even earlier), while the first Google Home came out in November 2016.

Apple had planned to release the HomePod, a home audio speaker with its Siri digital assistant built in, for the 2017 holiday season. However, in November the tech giant announced it would delay the release until early 2018.

Samsung is reportedly aiming to release a smart speaker of its own in the first half of 2018.

My friends in US told me la, I just happen to know little bit more in this topic.
