《洛迪古斯四喜臨門 助東方龍獅再挫標準灝天》
繼上週末在高級組銀牌八強淘汰標準灝天之後，本會東方龍獅足球隊於周三晚上在聯賽再下一城，以6：2輕鬆擊敗同一對手，於聯賽榜上再添三分，登上聯賽榜首。
比賽展開後不久，東方龍獅被對方球員於後場截得來球後推順抽射破網，率先陷於落後形勢。不過球隊隨即由洛迪古斯在14分鐘內連入三球，並反先3：1。之後迪高及洛迪古斯在完半場前再各入一球，助東方龍獅以5：1遙遙領先至半場。易邊後，標準灝天積極反撲，最終由艾華頓追成較接近紀錄，及後東方龍獅加強進攻力度，由麥基單刀入球做成6：2局面至完場。
今仗錄得「大四喜」的前鋒洛迪古斯於賽後表示，能夠取得四球斬獲當然非常高興，惟其不忘多謝隊友努力助攻配合：「今仗能夠射入四球當然令我感到興奮，不過最重要的還是能夠協助球隊取勝。再次讓對手先開紀錄是有點遺憾，不過足球就是這樣，稍一不留神便會讓對手有機可乘，這點我們往後必須加倍留意。」
Riding on a recent victory against BC Glory Sky in the Senior Shield quarter-final, Eastern Long Lions edged the very same opponent once again on Wednesday night, this time in a premier league home fixture through a 6:2 victory, picking up three more valuable points in the premier league title-chase.
Eastern Long Lions started the game slowly once again and conceded the first goal of the game through some sloppy defending, allowing Rafael Perez to snatch the lead for BC Glory Sky. Eastern Long Lions then woke up and saw Manuel Rodriguez securing a dazzling hat-trick in barely fourteen minutes, making it 3:1 for his side. Diego Moreira and Rodriguez each added another goal before the interval and put Eastern Long Lions well ahead 5:1.
After the game resumed in the second half, BC Glory Sky stormed forward, trying to cut down the deficit. Everton Camargo then rewarded his side with a goal to make the score line more respectable. However, Eastern Long Lions turned on the pressure once again and Jaimes Mckee broke behind the opposing defense near the end of the game and made it 6:2.
Four-goal hero Manuel Rodriguez was understandably happy with his first hat-trick in Hong Kong football but insisted on crediting his teammate for the assists and the help. “I am obviously excited to score four goals but more importantly, I am extremely glad to help the side to grab a victory,” said the Spanish striker.
“Allowing the opponent to open the score was a sore point but that is football. If you take your eyes off the ball, a simple counter-attack can lead to a quick goal. This is something that we need to keep an eye on.” |
