1980年10月, John Lennon在退隱五年之後復出的第一張大碟 Double Fantasy的首張上榜細碟就是 (Just Like) Starting Over, 可惜在當年12月8日他在紐約街頭被行刺, 不幸過世, 這首歌也成為他的遺作, 屈指一數, 已是35年的事了
