一個眾所周知的家庭失去了他們25歲的兒子（阿倫戈帕爾拉特南）在家  六月四日 的火災。
這是發生了什麼?他畢業於工商管理碩士學位威斯康星大學麥迪遜分校，兩個星期前在家與他的父親共進午餐，並決定回去清理他在學校的房間。父親告訴他，在家裡等著看他的母親再走。

他決定打個盹，等待他的媽媽下班回家。鄰居叫911當他們看到黑煙冒出房子。他們25歲的兒子阿倫死在三年新的房子。花了幾天的調查，找出原因的火災。

據測定，大火是由於手提電腦在床上。

當手提電腦在床上，計算機的風扇不獲取空氣冷卻，這是引起火災的原因。

表面不均勻的床單已經封鎖了進氣排氣低於 CPU風扇。當筆記本電腦放在一個平面上，即在辦公桌 /表外，還有一個差距的辦公桌表面和外殼的基地，讓空氣流通/吸進氣口，通過由CPU風扇通風冷卻的CPU

他甚至沒有醒來走出床的時候，他死於一氧化碳（CO）。
我之所以寫這一切你是我所看到的一切，我們用我們的手提電腦在床上。讓我們所有的決定，並使其成為慣例是不會這樣做的。風險是真實的。讓我們把它的規則不使用手提電腦在床上或在床上把電腦與毯子和枕頭左右。

The article had some many issues.
Any other electricity equipments might generate enough heat but notebook was unlikely as most of them would broken down before then.

床單, 都有一套安全標準嫁....  成份有要求, 密度都有最低要求   一般都係全棉平布....  都係唔易著火材料黎

吹黎做咩呀... 依位樓主一連貼不少精品文章, 都係十年前國內創作.  基本上連依個帖, 都係流過流加零..

作者對美國好多制品標準係一無所知, 所以係錯漏佰出

This is laughable, because the laptop would shut down on its own when it is overheated.  This is done to safeguard the CPU, the most expensive component in a laptop.

You can try it yourself and see if it would shut down before you can fry an egg on it or not.  Or try removing the heat sink on your desktop computer's CPU and see how long it stays on running.  Have fun with that.
