quite a solid product, esp. the 3rd roll, it's very handy for occasional short distance travel with extra guest. The powertrain is quite smooth, not eager, but with ample torque on reserve; and interior isn't too bad either. the suspension also handles occasional off-road well (as long as you don't go where a Wrangler goes...) all in all, quite a nice family car
but the problem is: almost everyone else is offering a smaller forced-injection engine which offers more torque and better fuel efficiency and Mitsubishi is still a N/A 2.4... brent crude oil price may have dropped faster than Hang Seng or Shanghai Index... but the govt. has decided to keep the change, so the fuel price hasn't changed that much...
but for this price, Outlander offers great utility, space, comfort; as long as you can live with the petrol budget; but again, unless you're clocking over 3000km/month, Outlander's fuel consumption isn't that bad |
