安全非常重要的，感觉比CCIE routing好，当然CCIE SECURITY方向还是最牛的。

好多大公司, 收到新工申請後, 都會LONG LIST, 然後SHORT LIST.
LONG/SHORT LIST 好多時系 HR 部門做 ,
SHORT LIST 剩先由IT老頂 IN.
所以有 CERT 永遠比冇 CERT 好

Agree. Usually, the IT Manager will look around from referral before giving chances to external applicants

關鍵在佢要實戰派定系理論派。
interview表現也影響決定。

CISSP can offer you a ticket to gain opportunity for interview. it also provide you pretty good understanding about information security concept that can help you build stuff with design by security

got a job from interview is more on your future boss checking if he can work with you and if your expectation can be met by the company

At anytime, I will hire a person with real world experience rather than a highly educated, but no experience person. These people are more on the theory side only, and they don't know how to apply their skills to the real business world problems because they lack the experiences. So I agree that your boss hire the one with only a Bachelor degree. I had seen too many "High Score Idiots".......

基本上都可以張你起薪點提高百幾到幾百
特別係security方便個兩張(cissp同唔記得邊份)
每張起碼加五百
不過都要有人請先得

我覺得唔值...考到仲要每年比錢去續......
就算考到如果冇經驗又唔見得比你做SECURITY AUDIT既野...

It depends on what job you apply. CISSP indicated that you possess some knowledge on security only and may get more chance to be shortlisted for interview. Regarding the salary, I don't think any manager will offer additional salary for CISSP qualification.
