Didn't you heard? Thanks to vast numbers of tourist from certain Super Power of the east. The Hotels in Bangkok are now at full capacity.
So the many hotels announced their price go up from 2014 all together!

I have stayed in Citadines Soi 16 many times. I can share my comments with you.

PROS
====
good location
clean room
professional staff
yes, overnight guest allowed
relatively quiet

CONS
=====
forget about the swimming pool
breakfast inedible
no wifi in the room (but that was more than 1 year ago)
aircon cold enough but not very even
no bathtub

I would say if you pay 1600Baht or below, it is a very good deal.

Thanks for the info. I will find out next month. I only paid 1190B, I think it is a good deal for that location. Breakfast is 200b extra and from the review I read, it not worth 200b. Internet should be free and not sure it has wired or wireless (Wi-Fi). Will review the hotel when I get back.

If 1190 for room only, it is still very good deal.  Book it.   Save the 200B for breakfast.  If you stay in Citdines soi 16, there is a 24 hr restaurant inside Foodland (next to hotel).  American breakfast is only around 75Baht
