Hong Kong Head Coach Fired up for Crucial Asian Cup Qualifier against Vietnam
Hong Kong head coach Kim Pan-gon and his charges have arrived Vietnam over the past weekend to prepare for Wednesday night’s epic battle against the home side in a crucial Asian Cup Qualifying tilt.
The Hong Kong tactician reveals the players are settling in nicely to the surroundings. “The players were a bit tired last week but on the first training session in Vietnam, they have shown great improvement,” said Kim. “I expect them to be better on Tuesday and their condition will come together before game-time on Wednesday.”
Kim believes the current Vietnam climate should not possess much of a problem for the visiting Hong Kong side. “The Vietnam climate is rather similar to Hong Kong,” Kim pointed out. “However, I am just concerned that Vietnam will be very strong on the wet playing surface.”
Before finishing up the interview, the South Korean once again declared his intentions for the upcoming game. “We will try to attack Vietnam strongly and also press them,” Kim voiced. “We will try to dominate the game and not to give them any chance to play.”
