Little Junior's Blues Flames - "Love My Baby" and "Mystery Train"
1953年美國 Tennessee 田納西洲, Memphis 曼菲斯市一位藍調怨曲歌手 Junior Parker 與他的電結他樂隊 "Little Junior's Blue Flames" 與著名結他手 Pat Hare 合作, 参予 Sam Phillips 的公司 Sun Records 的唱片錄音, 他們把 "Love My Baby" 與 "Mystery Train" 這两首歌曲以較新穎的演譯, 脱離了 "Rock and Roll 搖滾樂" 的傳統, 令 Sam Philips 對此方式的唱法有所關注, 亦對日後的 "Rockabilly 鄉巴搖滾" 有所啓發。
Arthur Crudup - That's All Right (original version)
"THAT'S ALL RIGHT MAMA", "BLUE MOON OF KENTUCKY" Elvis Presley - Sun Records
1954年7月, 貓王 Elvis Presley 在田納西洲 Tennessee, 曼菲斯市 Memphis 的音樂事業就是 Sam Phillips 的慧眼, 給他一張合約, 两首歌曲 "I Love You Because" 與 "That's All Right" 的唱片錄音。

" Johnny Cash planted the seed for the song in the fall of 1955, while Perkins, Cash, Elvis Presley, and other Louisiana Hayride acts toured throughout the South. Cash told Perkins of a black airman, C. V. White, whom he had met when serving in the military in Germany, who had referred to his military regulation airmens shoes as "blue suede shoes." Cash suggested that Carl write a song about the shoes. Carl replied, "I don't know anything about shoes. How can I write a song about shoes?" When Perkins played a dance on December 4, 1955, he noticed a couple dancing near the stage. Between songs, Carl heard a stern, forceful voice say, "Uh-uh, don't step on my suedes!" Carl looked down and noted that the boy was wearing blue suede shoes and one had a scuff mark. Good gracious, a pretty little thing like that and all he can think about is his blue suede shoes, thought Carl. "
The song "Blue Suede Shoes" was inspired by Johnny Cash !

Rockabilly gal, runnin' after crazy rhythm
Rockabilly gal, please come back to me
Last night a certain rockabilly singer came to town
My gal says that she'd like to hear his crazy rhythm sound
So we went down to see him and he shook her up for sure
'Cause today he's gone and my Heather, she is following his tour
Rockabilly gal, runnin' after crazy rhythm
Rockabilly gal, woo-hoo-hoo
Rockabilly gal, runnin' after crazy rhythm
Rockabilly gal, please come back to me
This guy was just a hillbilly singer at the start
But when he added rock 'n' roll he tore the place apart
The moment my gal heard him, you'd swear an earthquake begins
She started with a-itchin' and a-twakin', then got up and ran

1984年 Led Zeppelin 的 Jimmy Page 與 Robert Plant 亦有一專輯 "The Honey Drippers - Vol.1" 作為對50年代 Rock n' Roll 音樂的致敬。
