《Aild Lang Syne 友誼萬歲》
Scotland Lowland 低地蘇格蘭語：Auld Lang Syne 是一首非常出名的詩歌, 原文用蘇格蘭語寫作, 意思是逝去已久的日子。有傳歌詞是18世紀蘇格蘭詩人 Robert Burns (1759-1796) 1788年所寫, 再把它譜上傳統的蘇格蘭民謠曲調, 但他從未有承認是自己的手筆。

1793年, 他把這歌曲與一信函寄给 The Scots Musical Museum 蘇格蘭古老民歌考究的總篇輯 James Johnson, 函中稱這是從一些長輩所聽到的民謠, 從未經文字記載的 "An olden song" 古老歌曲。但事實上 Robert Burns 不知道這是15世紀一首匿名的詩篇, 這詩篇有不同的版本: "Auld Kindries Foryett"; "Old Longsyne"。英格籣名畫家詩人 Janes Watson 1711年所寫的民謠, 亦名為 "Auld Lang Syne", 但樂譜曲調就没有記載而歌詞祇這一段。

"Auld Lang Syne"一詞曾出現不同的詩編, 第一次在歌曲文字版本看到的是内戰期間一首飲酒歌曲, 是1724年出自詩人 Allan Ramsay, 他是 Robert Burns 所崇拜詩人之一。

這首歌曲除了原蘇格蘭文外, 亦被很多國家譜上自己的語言, 在多個華語國家普遍被稱為「友誼萬歲」。Auld Lang Syne 英文的原意是 "Old long since", 常用口語的 "Long long ago" 或 "Old times"。這首歌在很多西方國家, 通常會在除夕夜、新年來臨那一刻演唱, 象徵送走舊年而迎接新年的來臨, 亦有在一些傷感或離別的時刻以之對心情的表達, 但它的主調並沒有中文版本那樣感傷、告別或結束的象徵。

與大多數的古舊民謠歌曲一樣, 原作者與其歴史根源是不停被考究的, 今天藉着迎接 2014年, 以此歌曲祝願:
