Scream overkill all you want. The fact of the matter is that, whether you like it or not, hyper-realistic, ultra definition, get-as-close-to-being-in-the-action-as-you-possibly-can 4K TV is here to stay. So it's no wonder that—just like everything else in life—it's already being used for porn.

Just launched yesterday, the adult content website Huccio claims to be the very first company to offer 4K Ultra HD downloads of sexytime movies. Or more specifically, they're "the first to ever master all of our content in 4K and release it in 4K." So what does that mean for you, the loyal lonesome viewer? In an email conversation with Giz, Toni Tsai, one of Huccio's creators, said that he believes that people will adapt to seeing every stray hair, mole, and burgeoning (yet manageable!) blister during their special alone time.

Huccio is certainly banking a lot on the fact that they're right; the minds behind the site have been shooting all that crystal-clear content for over a year now. You won't be able to see the full fruit of that labor until December 1st, though, when the subscription and pay-per-view options go live, at which point new videos will be released weekly. For now, the 4K-curious have to make due with a free membership that includes stills and 4-minute teasers. Which, Tsai assures, are "beautifully edited."

Right now, all these free clips are being released in H264 form; once HVEC hits, though, those files will finally start whittling down closer to HD-sized territory. And there is a lot of potential, which Huccio is eager to get in on early. Tsai tells us:

As 4k cameras become cheaper, I think the porn industry will definitely crossover and 4k will become the norm sooner than most people think. Case example, the new Galaxy Note can shoot 4k! Of course ,there will be varying qualities of 4k, so our goal is to provide the best visually. Because we had an head start in shooting exclusively and mastering our content in 4k, our goal is create the biggest ultra hd 4k erotica porn library for our subscribers.
