Transformer Book T100 will feature the Intel Atom Bay Trail T Z3740 quad-core processor that will facilitate multi-tasking performance. Asus also promises energy efficiency with the processor that will help last the Transformer Book for 11 hours on battery power.
The machine is a high-mobility notebook and tablet combination. It comes wit a detachable HD display that can be used as a standalone Windows 8.1 tablet too. The Transformer Book T100 features a 10.1-inch IPS multi-touch touchpad with wide 178-degree viewing angles and has a resolution of 1,366x768 pixels. Not much has been said about its GPU, but Asus says that it will be using Intel HD Graphics.
The tablet contains 2GB of RAM, a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera and no back camera. There are ports available on the tablet for Micro-HDMI, Micro-USB, a microSD card and headphones. The keyboard contains a single USB 3.0 port too. The keyboard dock features precision engineered keys for comfortable typing too.
