BMW i3的車室內裝同樣也是以天然、可回收為原則的材料打造而成,但目前許多人對於「環保材質」都有著容易壞,不夠精緻的刻板印象,但原廠卻透過天然揉製皮革、原木裝飾以及可回收材質,搭配出高質感、奢華的溫馨家庭氛圍;至於在銷售端,BMW先前也表示打算以線上銷售的方式來進行i品牌車款的販售動作,這點也能夠減少到相關資源的浪費,另外即便是BMW i的專屬展間,在建材的選用以及展間的設計上,都會以環保節能為最高原則。
舉例來說,BMW原廠提供車主BMW i Wallbox專屬充電器以及太陽能車庫頂棚的架設服務,在外面的公共充電站,原廠也提供了所謂的「ChargeNow」卡,能夠讓車主進行充電、付費的動作,另外早些日子在歐洲開始推行的DriveNow車輛共享服務,i3車主一樣能夠使用,最後就算車主要長距離移動,原廠也提供了i3車主專屬代步車的服務;另外,車主也能夠透過ConnectedDrive聯網駕馭科技來尋找充電站、DriveNow共享車站等服務,專屬App則是能夠監控車輛充電資訊與各項情況。
BMW i3的車身尺碼為3999×1775×1578mm,軸距則是2570mm;事實上,再圓廠最後一次釋出偽裝照時,其實i3的外觀已經揭露得差不多了,但今天在看到實車之後,依舊擁有令人耳目一新的驚豔感,首先是頭燈的部份,相較於BMW傳統動力車型的雙天使環頭燈,i3的兩個頭燈都改為單環式設計,原廠表示是為了表達敞開雙手擁抱未來的意象,至於也是招牌象徵的雙腎型水箱護罩,因為不再需要進氣的作用,所以改為封閉式,另外飾框則是採用象徵潔淨的藍色;而原廠更提供了兩種單色、四種金屬車色讓消費者選擇。
