Peng Chau (East) is a good place.  If you look at the island from far away, you can see that it is a very flat island.  Perhaps that is why it is called "平洲".  I have been to there many years ago.  There is only one public ferry from  Ma Liu Shui to Peng Chau and one ferry from Peng Chau to Ma Liu Shiu on Sunday.  
The nature scenery of Peng Chau is very good.  But the bad thing is that there are many rubbish on the beach facing China.  You can know that the rubbish is from China from the simplified Chinese character on the package.
