I fully agree your point. However should we stop doing any action to improve the situation or let the situation become worst ! 好似星爺講，如果冇夢想，我們會變成一條咸魚！雖然夢想多是不切實際，但也有可能夢想成真呢！

For youngsters , yes, what you said is right . Dare to dream ! They certainly have chances cause they have TIME.
For the aged , no, it is easy to say and to sing , but after years and years  experience, dream becomes blurred , furhtermore, as age increases , what is right and what is wrong are getting more difficult to justify.
So, my opinion is  better be a day dreamer than a big dreamer when getting close retirment age. Relax and enjoy life  !
