In the beginning, every 12 months Apple can give their devoted user some surprise and delight. Remember the first version was 2G only and locked to USA network. Now if Apple still do the same, its competitors are releasing more and more model every few months. e.g. Samsung S3, then 6 months later Note 2 to suit different markets. Apple will look very behind if it does not bring out new models. However, its users will feel less and less special about a new iPhone release.

I had a play with the Nokia Windows 8 phone today, and it feels very nice too. There are more and more competitions.

I was just playing with it in the shop but not even ready to buy any. But it was very responsive. Surfing the net easily. Screen nice to read, nice colours. Slim body. Colourful handset externally. Different interface compared with Apple/Android but probably if using Windows 8 tablet/Pro it will feel similar.

Anyway, a lot better than the Windows Mobile 6 phone that I had a few years ago. Now it has a chance to offer an alternative to the other two OS.
