You are not looking at the big picture here, the fact that TP-link defines their IPoE devices are the best way to connect a 2-story thick walled house is fundamentally flaw. In rebroadcasting and extending wireless signal, there's always a signal degradation, therefore un-reliable service.

iPad or whatever tablet devices are to a certain extend gimmicky technology. Also, any good IT/comm engineer will tell you that a wired network is the best to go. Granted, there is some data loss within long cables but in any day it still beats wifi/IPoE.

Setting up wifi in USA isn't a big problem as between household there's lot of space, less channel interference. The problem however is broadcasting a strong enough signal to cover the entire house. I have a 2-story house and I tried every tricks in the book, IPoE/Wifi a/b/g/n, replacing with high power antennas and they didn't do crap. In the end, I bought bulk ethernet cables and wire the house myself, much simpler and reliable.

無線信號太差梗係改用有線信號就可以觧決啦

TP-Link Hyfi looks a great signal problem solver. This is the first introduction to me about this product. But, after seeing the demonstration to TP-Link, it does provides very good signal after installation. However, at this moment, I could not really give any recommendation of using it. Although, the TP-Link appears to be working efficiently. Therefore, there is no harm of using it. Thanks! Alfreku for the invite. I must say, I might try it, someday.

我家試過用Home-Pug, 發現訊號相當弱, 也斷線.......最後將本來裝在書房的WiFi Router改到客廳中心, 但距離最遠的主人房收得不好!
請問有何方法解救?

Of course, I know that wired connection is better than wifi in terms of signal strength and interference.
And this product use electric cable for transmission and therefore NO need to lay the ethernet cables in the house. Just use the existing electric cable network and save the work.
Not all people have the time and skills to do this ethernet cable laying job and demand such high requirement. This is much simpler.
Btw, have you use this kind of electricity product before?
However, you are not answering my question.
What if one need to walk around the house? Do you mean that one has to carry a long ethernet cable with the computer? How do you connect your ipad/pad? Using ethernet cables?
