佢地两間，一間供應數據交換器，
一間主攻流動通訊設備，
以而家流動通訊同數據中心都系競爭激烈，
平既資本設備投資，對營運成本影響好大。

我講一個例， 你就明白：

假設你出來開自己既office.
裝修費都幾貴， 不過好好彩，搵到個平靚正既裝修佬，
仲可以分期找數添。
正想開工既時候，中唔到標個裝修佬搵人同你講：
"你因住呀!嗰個裝修佬古古惑惑，可能會裝的鏡頭系你
公司度，然後偷晒你的客呀!"

就系咁，你當堂企左系度

Somehow we are missing the point here... this is not a one time purchase.

Who is going to support when it does not work in the middle of the night? How about IOS upgrade if there is a known bug? Can the DC (Data Center) support team know the products well enough to handle the day to day operations?  

I would stick with Cisco because of its track record; I ask my friend's help who works for another companies but using the same or similar unit; I know that when I retire the unit, I have good resell value (to write off)... etc.

There is a reason why Cisco products are 10 times more expensive than stuff from other vendors. If I need a router at my house - sure: cheap is OK... but DC is a totally different story.

IMHO, of course.
